Hello!
Well I will be quite honest now, I want to be able to attend a 4 year university right away. My freshman year grades were a disaster, I had just came from Germany considering my mother works for the military. I will admit I could have done something about it, and I was taking a hard class such as algebra 2. I could have done better but I didn't because I was a/an immature child that cared more about his social life. I moved to Texas and started my sophomore year there. I dramatically improved my grades, I got a 3.0. I moved again due to my mothers job and now I'm in Hawaii. I had moved and missed a month and a half of school due to not being able to reside in an area fast. When I attended school in Hawaii, I started doing very poorly. I had to deal with a racist teacher that I soon reported, my mother all of a sudden tells me that she divorced my dad which affected my studying as I was angry, which is my fault since I let it affect me. English which I had gotten an (A) first quarter in Texas and (A) my sophomore year, all of a sudden this teacher keeps giving me a D. No matter what I do I keep getting a D, I ask for extra credit and stay after school, I always sacrifice sleep just to make sure her assignments are done with quality work but she keeps rewarding me with a D. my junior year has been a disaster and my grades are embarrassing. If I were to solely focus on studying and work extremely hard (which I plan on during my 4th quarter of junior year and senior year. I will move again but I will try getting a 3.5 - 4.0 gpa range). would that maybe set me up for a good college? do I still have hope?
About me: I speak 3 languages fluently. English, Arabic, and German
I played soccer for my high school team my sophomore year, and junior year. I also joined the swim team my junior year.
I traveled and lived in lot of places.Where ever I went, I would help people with their English home work and would teach elementary , middle school and high school kids English when I lived in Egypt and Germany. (all for free).
I know this might sound as a rant but I'm desperate. I been looking at colleges and I feel stressed out considering I did bad for most of my junior year. ( freshman year - 2.2 gpa)
sophomore year (3.0) - junior year (first semester (2.8) ). second semester is a disaster but I will try 4th quarter to bring it up. so do I have any hope of getting into any universities in California, Texas, Utah, Oregon or maybe Washington ? any suggestions? I don't want to be in a trash school or a community college. Any chance of Washington state, Utah state university, Texas A&M , university of Texas Dallas, Portland University , or something respectable in California?
