Will anyone chance me...

Hi, I am an international student(asian).

My stats are as follows

GPA
freshman:3.2
sophomore:3.64
junior:4.14
senior(mid term):4.18

SAT
660 reading 790 math 700 writing (2150)

ACT
35 english 34 math 36 reading 35 science (35)

SAT 2
Math2c 800
US History 710

Awards and Extracurricular
Student council
varsity captain
some clubs
small debate award
internship at lawyers office
some service trips

The colleges I applied to are Georgetown, Emory, UCLA, UC Berkeley, Boston College and some safeties

I applied for business

My essays are okay. I tried to be as honest as possible. I would consider them 8/10

My recommendations are great. I had many teachers willing to write good recommendations for me I got 4 and submitted the most I could.

The counsellor recommendation is mediocre because he is new.

BTW Berkeley asked for recommendations, even though it means nothing.

I would appreciate chances for these colleges, especially Emory.

Thanks.

You have a decent shot at all those schools, so it’s worth applying. I’m not sure how the fact that you’re an international student will play into the admissions selections

Do you need financial aid? What is your cumulative GPA?

I don’t need financial aid… I don’t think I can get any. My cumulative is 3.61

A 3.61 will make some of these schools difficult because it’s on the lower end with that being said your ACT is fantastic so that will help. The other problem is as an international applicant you face a lot stiffer completion for fewer spots. I think you’ll get into BC and possibly Emory your ACT is great for them but GPA is a bit low. All of these could go either way but as an international applicant it’s a lot tougher still you’re qualified enough to get in so best of luck!

CSOM is extremely competitive and BC has already made a large number of offers under its non binding early decision plan.

Thanks you so much for the replies.
