Will AP Environmental Science count as a science toward college admission?

A few colleges I’ve looked at require 3 years of science for admissions, and I know that the standard three would be biology, physics, and chemistry. I’ve already taken biology and physics and I’m enrolling for senior year classes now, but the chemistry teacher at my school is not a good teacher, and everyone I’ve talked to has advised against taking her class. So, I have the option to take environmental science instead with a teacher recommendation, but I’m worried it won’t count be counted as a science. Does anyone know if it qualifies as a science when applying to colleges?

Yes, APES counts as a science.
What major are you hoping for? If STEM, you really should try to take chemistry. if not, you’ll be perfectly fine.
