Will applying to two colleges/programs at an university improve my chances?

<p>In the essay prompt: "If you are applying to more than one college or program, please mention each college or program you are applying to."</p>

<p>If applying to another school within the university can improve my chances, all I have to do is add another paragraph to my essay.</p>

<p>I don’t think that applying to 2 programs will increase your chances. They just want to know what your intentions are.</p>
