<p>So, after finding out the high cost of the CSS Profile, I sent an e-mail to about ten colleges, asking them if it was possible to get a fee waiver for the CSS Profile. I was frustrated at the moment, as I have already spent $1000 in application fees and sending test scores, and my family is very low income (<$30,000). Will this affect my chances of being admitted? I'm afraid that they are going to think I am far too poor to afford the college. Any help is much appreciated.</p>
<p>if you qualify for the fee waiver (based on submitted information), collegeboard will waive fees automatically.</p>
