Will being "unique" help a so/so student transfer to ivy-ish schools?

I'm sorry to post another "chances" thread but I'd love to know: will being weird help me out? Thanks!!! :

In high school I had about a 3.6 gpa w/ 1310 SAT, no SAT II's Then I attended to James Madison University in Virginia for a semester with a 3.98 GPA. Since then I've studied art in Italy for a semester and I've been taking classes at community college with a 3.9 GPA. (so/so recommenations: none of my professors know me that well)
I'd really love to transfer to a fantastic School: UVA, Rice, William and Mary, Oberlin...or dare I say it: colombia????
Do I have any chance as a spring transfer in need of financial aid?
My grades and SATs aren't that great but I'm writing a novel and I'm a fairly successful artist (show in a gallery) and I wear angel wings and I'm going to Africa next summer to start on a paintings series celebrating Love and I want to save the world and all that....so....maybe that will help???? what do you all think??

what do you mean, you wear angel wings?
also, it's spelled columbia...make sure you get it right on your apps ^_^
Your GPAs are fantastic, by the way. A 1310 GPA is nothing to sneeze at.
A successful artist with a high GPA...it's worth applying.

thanks jimbob
Just an art project: I made wings out of scraps of cloth; I'm not sure why I put that on my post : )
"columbia"....lol.....this is exactly why I worry
Isn't a 1310 low for these schools?
You really think I should try? I just don't want to end up getting rejected by every single one of them. I'll need a safety, won't I?

well yeah, of course you need a safety. but it's worth applying since you have such high GPAs.

I think you have a good chance but a 1310 is really low for Columbia. You're artistic talents will definitely be helpful so make sure to showcase them in your app.

You should always try, and William and Mary has a high transfer rate so that could probably be your safety. I think around 52%.

ummm...how do you get a 3.98 in a semester..?

Are you Jewish, Hazelrah?
