In light of UCLA's early decision notification, do you think Berkeley will do the same and notify earlier than March 27th?

how do u know ucla's notification date? when is it?

No. They are two separate schools. Berkeley will notify its applicants when it wants to, and it has long stated that that date is March 27th.

And what early decision notification are you talking about for UCLA?

UCLA decisions came out today.

<----- what kkwong319 said. i know they're two separate schools, but since many (if not most) applicants and acceptances overlap between the two, i would think that berkeley would 'change its mind' and release decisions earlier so people dont think of them as an afterthought. its the same rationale behind Likely letters

oh and i meant Early notification of decisions. They claimed it would be later than today...

I hope they come out earlier- it would make a lot of sense too. Haha this reminds me of the presidential primaries so much!

Sense and Cal's bureaucracy don't always mix. In fact, I don't believe Cal has let admissions decisions out before their stated deadline as far as I know. Why? Because they can and will do so since they like taking their good old time.

they probably are sorting out regents and chancellors scholars right now so the deadline will remain...just a guess

Savin' the best for last....

Good luck to all applicants.

Go Bears!!
