Will both of your choices notify you?

I put UP summer session as my first choice and Hazelton down as my second choice, I heard back from Hazelton and got in but was wondering if UP would notify me whether I got accepted or not.

If you get an acceptance letter from a branch campus, that’s where you got accepted to; I don’t think UP sends you a denial letter. If UP admissions looks at your app and doesn’t accept it, they tell the other campus admissions to look at it.

That’s right. you can’t be accepted to more than one choice. What ever you get, you get.

thanks for answering

do you mind sharing your stats/major?

so does that mean that if you’re waiting for UP and you get rejected you prob won’t know until the 31st mark?

If you haven’t heard yet from either campus yet, you’re probably still in the running for UP. If you got accepted to another campus, try taking at what you can do at that campus and how to move to UP in a year or two.

thanks  It’s weird b/c my school uses 93 - 100% for an A and so I’m having a hard time finding my GPA on a 4.0 scale… the lowest I’ve calculated is 3.33 but the highest I found was a 3.9/4.0. Do you have any idea what a 95 on the 4.0 scale is? :frowning: I’m going to re calculate to see, and ask my guid. counselor tomorrow… ugh. I hate this.

Well for most NYC public schools (including mine) we have a conversion like this:

110 - 5.0 (anything above 100 is for weighted AP’s/honors; AP’s = +10%, honors = +5%)
109 - 4.9
108 - 4.8

95-100 - 4.0
94 - 3.9
93 - 3.8

90 - 3.5

85 - 3.0

80 - 2.5

75 = 2.0

…
