Will Cal Poly Pomona Rescind my Application if I Can't Access The Student Portal?

Just recently I clicked the link in the email I received from Cal Poly in order to activate my CPP Student account. After entering in the ID number and birthdate, the website said that I already activated my account when I never did.

I went through all the appropriate steps to change the password (they provided me with a username I supposedly made but, seriously…Never have EVER made an account. I specifically remember putting it off).

So I answered the security questions (which is odd because how could I have posed certain security questions and certain answers in the event that I forgot my password when I never made a CPP account or activated it??? Just doesn’t make sense). I answered the security questions accordingly (Date of Birth, etc etc) and the site tells me that I am incorrect and locks my account.

Will the university ignore my App or rescind it because the email does say that by making a CPP account you “ensure that you are completing the application process”.

I’m super concerned because this CPP account is the only way I can see my admission status, etc.

You have to contact the school. Many schools have technology help. This should be easy to fix once you contact them. Although, it seems odd that someone other than yourself seems to have activated your portal. Could it have been a parent?
