Will Cal State Long Beach take me back?

After high school I attended Cal State Long Beach (CSULB) in the fall of 2011. I attended only for one semester because I could not afford it at the time. I took about 3 classes which included Stats, Computer applications, and English course. I did poorly my first semester and stopped attending classes halfway, but I successfully passed the English class. I fell into academic probation and after that semester I went back home and did not attend. I did not notify the school that I was going to CCC instead. Well now I am here 3 years later applying to CSU's again and hoping to transfer for fall 2015. Now I am wondering, since I left the school with an Academic probation, will it hurt my chances to be accepted to this cal state again? Also, my UC/CSU gpa is 2.79 but I will be finished with prerequisites (Business: Finance/Marketing major) and GE's along with an Associates Degree in Economics.

It’s doubtful. Once you slip from attending the odds are you won’t be let in.

you have to reapply. you have the same chances as any transfer student. there are no odds about “letting you in” once you “slip from attending.” it would have been better had you completely flunked out, then you could just apply for reinstatement once you got your grades up. insanity of the csu’s.
