Will CB cancel everybody's score if one person cheats?

Someone cheated on the late APUSH test blatantly (how lame!), and got reported by another student. Will everybody got his/her score canceled even if everyone else is innocent?

Thank you.

No, it never happens. If you didnt cheat u have nothing to worry about.

All right, thanks.

There was one case the proctor (my counselor) was telling us about where kids were using their phones and stuff during a test. I guess they couldn’t figure out which of the students were cheating and all of the students’ scores were cancelled.

Wow, that sucks, Ego. At my school, we have to turn off our phones and place them in ziplock bags and give them to the proctor before the test (is this standard procedure?) I wonder why the proctor couldn’t make all the students turn out their pockets. That would have been more fair than cancelling everyone’s score.

^I don’t think a proctor has the right to search a student - could become a legal issue. Therefore its simpler just to cancel everyone’s score rather than face a huge lawsuit.

it depends on the situation
if it’s more widespread (if technology is involved) i think they would just cancel everybody’s score because the test’s integrity is jeopardized
however, it’s just one person cheating, i don’t htink CB would cancel everyone’s…but who knows?

at my school, they take our cell phones and put them in a box but it’s basically self reported so if you have one and don’t hand it over…it’ll most likely go unnoticed

Wow, why don’t we just take the tests stripped naked?

That would be worse than technology–everyone would be looking around, and you wouldn’t know who is cheating and who is peeping.
