<p>I really want to get into Cornell COE, but I applied to others too, like wharton for business</p>

<p>I've played competitive soccer for 9 years and I went to the ESPN Showcase tournament, as well as had invitations to the Toronto FC MLS Academy. I've been playing violin for 12 years, and clarinet for 6. I'm on the cross country team, and was on the Junior Tennis team. I am president of the school's Amnesty International club, and am a link crew leader. I am also the president of my school's chem club. </p>

<p>SAT: 2200 superscored (660CR,800M, 740W)
SAT II 800 Math 2, 770 Physics </p>

<p>What do you think my chances are at Cornell Engineering? I know it is tough, but would I be considered a strong candidate? I'm an international student from Canada btw. Thanks for your help</p>

<p>I sent them material and they said they put a note that I WANTED to play on my application . I contacted their coach too, but do you think that note means anything? What do you think my chances are without the recruitment?</p>

<p>Also, is operations research and engineering (ORE) a popular major at cornell? Does it give me a better chance if getting in?</p>
