<p>What are you ranked at your school? And have you improved a lot from 10th to 12th grade? If so, then your GPA isn’t that big of a problem, because I’m assuming it’s pretty hard to get an extremely high GPA at your school and also because colleges really like to see progression (I know plenty of people ranked in the 30s and 40s at my schools, which is definitely a lot worse than yours, who get into Vandy-level schools because they improved from 100s to 40s in rank.) </p>
<p>How involved are you in your ECs? If your school is really competitive in speech then that’s a huge EC because it is extremely time consuming. </p>
<p>Also, you probably have heard this by now, but your SAT scores are a bit low; a higher score would help you a bunch. </p>
<p>That said, I’d say a decent chance at Vandy ED. Probably just under reach. </p>
