I already wrote my essay and it’s pretty good, as are my recommendations! I know my GPA is pretty bad, but I think I have a pretty good SAT score and solid ECs. I spent a lot of my time on my Etsy business and that’s something that I really enjoy doing.

I want to apply to UC Davis, University of Washington (in state), UT Austin, NYU, Illinois - urbana champaign, UCSD, Boston University, USC, Georgetown (dream school!), university of Michigan, and Carnegie Mellon.
I want to major in Environmental Science or Environmental Engineering w/ Premed.

I know that some of them like georgetown and cmu might not be possible, but please let me know what other schools would be matches for me!

Georgetown and CMU are possible. But I also think Davis, UWashington, NYU, Ilinois Urbana-Champaign, all of them lol

Your test scores and ECs are great. Very streamlined too. Honestly, if you had a higher GPA, I’d say that you’d have good chances even at Georgetown. However, since it is a 3.6, Georgetown is going to be more of a reach for you. USC will also be pretty difficult to get into, but those test scores combines with your ECs may save you. UCs will be easier to get into (I know a kid that got a 2040 and had a 3.5 and got into Berkeley). Good luck!

Sounds pretty good dude, but how do you have your senior year GPA?

Very solid extracurriculars and test scores to get into most of these schools, yes GPA could have been better and it’s around the same as mine- we both have upward trends haha! But your ECs definitely make up for the shortcomings.

It’s hard to tell how “bad” if bad at all is your GPA is depending on how it’s weighted. Yet there is an upward trend. Your test scores are good, your extracurriculars don’t stand out to me though. It seems you are well rounded, but there is no passion portrayed. If you can pick your passion, and somehow portray that with activity’s and in your resume, that would dramatically increase your chances. Even so, I believe that you still have a good chance at any school. Maybe think about applying ED to a school to increase your chances (thats what i am trying to do!).

Can you chance me back?
