Hi,
So for this summer I wrote in my application that I planned to take 3 courses at my college:Statistics, Physics 4D, and Political Science. But now when time comes for registering for summer courses I found that I can only take Statistics, physics 4D is not even open for summer.
Im already accepted and already sired UCLA,will this affect my admission decision? If I remember correctly then summer courses cannot be used to satisfy requirements for transfer so I hope that Im ok
Any idea guys?
maybe… I’d ask UCLA before making any changes.
@dungsi27 Call UCLA, of course, but presumably they made their admission decision without considering what classes you’re going to sign up for, if any, this Summer. So it shouldn’t make a difference. Again, call them and talk about it. I doubt it said in your conditions of admission that you have to take those Summer classes after all, right?
Thanks for the response guys,I definitely will contact UCLA ASAP and talk about these.
And yes it didnt say anything about me having to take those classes in summer. Ive checked again today. When I first filled out application put Physics 4D just because I was interested in the subject and would like to learn that before I transferred. It was among the major requirements but on assist.org it said I could satisfy physics requirement at UCLA by taking either physics 4D or 4C,and I already finished 4C. Political science I put that down for IGETC but then again I should finish my IGETC in spring. So in the end apparently those 2 courses wouldnt affect either my major requirement or IGETC. I hope that means Im ok
When it comes to transfer admissions and UCs, KNOW, don’t hope or think.
Ok so to update on this it didnt affect my admission decision yay
Glad to hear!
