Will college board release more practice exams?

Do they plan on releasing more practice exams for the new sat for the year of 2016-2017? I know they released like 4, but will there some more coming out soon?

Anyone please answer!

One’s supposed to come out in July.

Do you mean this July? They released a blue book with four exams for the 2016 new sat, but what about the 2017 sat? It’s nearing the end of July and they are do not have many materials offered for students to study, are you sure they are supposed to be release sometime this July?

Yeah, they’ll likely retire one of the Spring '16 tests and put it online as the “2016 Official Practice Test.” @dalyakanani123

They have a NEW SAT STUDY GUIDE for the year 2016 from college board, but will they release a WHOLE NEW BOOK soon for the New SAT for the year 2017? @marvin100

I doubt it.

The March/June Test had an error in it that requires a replacement question before it can be released, but the College Board has said that they plan on releasing it at some point this summer. The question with the error was not counted in student’s results, so don’t panic if you took that test.

@academiccoach - do you really think the CB will replace that question? In the past, when they’ve had similar problems, the released exam didn’t have a replacement question.

The May QAS was supposed to be released on Khan Academy on July 15th – I assume this is the one they will release. I also feel like they might release the March test as “Official SAT 2016 Practice Test” since that test was leaked abroad so they cant really use it again.

On a LinkedIn board it was brought up, and an insider indicated that they were looking to replace the question, so it could be used as a completed sample test. It, of course, could all be delay tactics because of scoring problems.

@academiccoach
Do you have the link to the Linkedin board? just curious.

The link is actually an outside source that I came to through LinkedIn

Sounds like BS to me. They’ve literally never replaced a removed question in the past. Not once.

I agree with marvin…something is up…the collegeboard rep said they had to “vet” a new question and add it to the new test before they would release it I think they do not want the public to know they already had a bad question that had to be thrown out. They have received such poor press they cannot afford any more.

They will release the May QAS test right? I mean it’s a QAS. It’s for everyone.

@GMKoon This may seem like a dumb question, but what does QAS stand for?
