Will colleges be suspicious of my qualifications because of this? strange question ik

<p>I've been using my mother's maiden surname throughout my school career. All of my high school records have my name followed by my mother's surname. However I've started using my father's surname (legally) as of late and I've filled my college application with my father's surname. However all my transcripts are in my mother's name. And the question i want to ask is; will the college admission officials notice? Will they become suspicious of my identity? What do i have to do to prove to them that it is really me who went to said high school?</p>

<p>This is something you could have referenced in the “additional information” section of the Common Application. If you didn’t, you might consider sending a clarifying email to the admissions office of each school where you applied. If they need any additional information, they will contact you.</p>
