Will Colleges Contact Me If I Am Missing Documents?

Hey y’all. According to my Yale portal, my mid-term report is still missing despite my counselor’s insistence that the document has been sent and is going to be processed later (thing is… it’s already mid February). He refuses to send it again and is asking me to wait it out. Should I be concerned of an immediate rejection due to not providing every document, or will Yale contact me if they need it (which should be enough to convince my counselor to finally resend it…)?

I don’t believe there’s a universal “all colleges” missing admissions documentation policy, however, I suspect Yale would contact you. But why not be proactive, call Yale, SUCCINCTLY express your concern, your GC’s position, and then request their advice?
