<p>I know that some colleges will look up applicants on Facebook to check for character and what not.
But CC is technically a social networking site too and people talk about ANYTHING and EVERYTHING college and non-college related things on this site.
Plus I'm pretty sure that colleges know about this site and what people do on it.
So do you think its possible that colleges will eventually check an applicant's CC account the way they do for Facebook?</p>
<p>How would they ever find out what your user name was unless you told them?</p>

<p>There are few college admission representatives on their own CC college site to answer questions from students.</p>
<p>It is not very difficult to figure out who is who on CC sometimes, especially when people give out a lot of information.</p>
<p>Few years back some students figure out how to “break into” a school’s website, they were contacted by the school with the threat of automatic rejection.</p>
