It wouldn’t be the end of the world for her to have to make a final decision without visiting, but it’s hard to think about committing 4 years to a school sight unseen.

Well, you can do an online visit on the college’s web site… and it may be a realistic visit, since many residential colleges are switching to distance / online learning which will probably be the new college experience at many colleges.
