Will colleges know that you've used score choice?

Will CollegeBoard notify colleges that an applicant has used ScoreChoice?

I believe collegeboard is currently saying no… but you never know. I wouldn’t risk it. A college could call your school and your GC could accidentally slip and tell or something. Even if you get in, you could have your admission rescinded if the college finds out you didn’t follow the rules. You can even be denied your diploma after 4 years if they find out. It may not seem like a big deal not to report everything… but there could potentially be repercussions and it’s up to you whether or not it’s worth it. It wouldn’t be worth it in my opinion.

According to admission officers I talk to, they can actually see all of your scores. Colleges who accept score choice simply don’t check and/or care. I would highly advise you not to use it if the college doesn’t allow it.
This raises the question of why we even have to send scores in the first place. IMO it’s all part of collegeboard’s evil tactics of making revenue. They probably have contracts with all schools using the SAT services that we have to send scores.
