Hello, I enjoy being busy. I like joining tons of clubs and groups. I don't do it for the benefit of my application. I do it for fun. However, when it came to my college application, I found that most of my ECs were very important to me in one way or another. Pretty much the only club I am in that I did not write down was French Club. If I describe my ECs well enough, do you think colleges will realize that I am just an outgoing person instead of someone who joined stuff to put on an application? How do I show colleges this? I have about 14 clubs/organizations/volunteer positions on my activities and additional information.

You can always attach supplementary material (not the supplement template the school provides; your own resume/papers/etc.). If you did that, and elaborated on your specific interest in each of those activities (listing awards/accomplishments wouldn’t hurt either), then the admissions staff would have a better idea. Of course, don’t overdo it and hand them 12 3-page essays in addition to everything else.
