If you screw up on an AP Test, can you withhold the score from the college you're applying to? Or does it depend on the school?

Thank you.

You self-report AP scores, but when you send in your AP scores to the college they will see it, but that is after you have been accepted so it won’t affect college admissions.

But what if I’m a junior and I want to apply this fall?

uhhh isn’t it on your high schools transcripts???

Like said before you have to report it yourself on your app, but if you choose to omit a test that you have a class listed as an AP for, colleges will assume by default that you did really bad. So unless you get less than a 3, don’t risk it.

It’s not necessarily on high school transcripts, no. My school does not report AP scores on the transcript.

Thank you.
