Will colleges look at bad SAT scores?

Most of my school choices superscore. With superscore my SAT comes out to 1940. However, the first time I took the SAT I did terrible due to lack of experience. Will colleges that superscore only care about my superscore total or will they also consider the lower scores people got on different sections?

In general, colleges will largely only care about your superscore; they actively look for positive factors to admit you, not for negative ones to deny you.

If the school states they superscore then take them at their word. They have no reason to lie.

Depends if they force you to send them every SAT you’ve ever taken.
But no, they probably still focus on superscore anyways.
