Will colleges look down on my sechedule?

I took reqular bio and reqular Chem before taking AP Chem and AP bio, and I am in an Engineering academy that has taken 6 periods through out high school, which is equals talent to a whole year. I also have taken tennis for 4 years and cross country for 2. Overall I only took 3 AP junior year and 3 AP senior year with 5 honors classes. The engineering academy it really unique; they have a laser cutter that MIT uses, about 20 mill and lathes, over 30 computers with solid works, and is somewhat well known. However, I am majoring in bio and I am worried thatI have not taken a challenging classes because I took reqular bio, Chem, and engineering. Not to mention sports.

You have AP chemistry and biology, so that should be fine. The only thing you did not mention is physics. It is best if you complete high school physics if you want to study any science or engineering in college.

A lot of schools require “regular” chem prior to AP. So, you won’t be alone in that. I think you’re fine!

I would make sure you had physics before i took both AP bio and AP chem.
Also at an Engineering school many times all of the courses are taught at the honors levels.
Most people start with reg bio/chem before taking AP versions.

Physics was included in engineering, but I will probably take physics at a community college next semester.
