Will colleges round up a 3.95+ GPA?

I have only gotten 1 B so far in my high school career but it was really stressful, under dubious circumstances, and is still getting on my nerves. Assuming I get As my senior year, my end GPA unweighted should be about 3.98. Would this effectively count as a 4.0?

Depends upon the college but either way it is still a great GPA.

  1. Most colleges round GPA to the hundredth.
  2. No school will accept or reject an applicant for a .02 difference in GPA so the one B really won’t matter.
  3. Relax. Stop worrying about the .02 imperfection in GPA, if you will be valedictorian etc.
