They appear on my official transcripts, but my friend told me that grades were self reported and colleges only cared about UW GPA. I’m not sure if this is true or not. Any answers would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much!
Probably not. A lot of schools don’t have A+'s, so they can’t compare students with an A vs an A+ very well.
Will they see Yes. Will they care? Insomuch that it is in the “A” range, yes. As an A+ vs. an A? Then no. Many, if not most, schools do not give A+, so any comparison will be meaningless.
@Uni1234 @skieurope Thanks for the replies! I’m wondering because I’m one percentage point from an A+ in two classes this year, while I retained straight A+s freshman and sophomore year. I didn’t want it to look like I was slacking off (sorry if this sounds like humblebragging, I just want to know if I should be worried or not. In the meantime I’ll be trying to bridge that 1%)
Nobody will consider going from an A+ to an A as slacking off. Courses generally get harder as the years go on, and grades will reflect that.
