If I selected no future ACT sittings on common app and already submitted it, but just took the ACT can I still send in my scores If I improved?
Schools will state this on their websites, test dates used for admission may not be the same as dates for scholarships. School vary so check each one.
@Sybylla thanks for your reply. I applied EA and have my current ACT scores in and on the website it says any applicants who get denied (not sure if I did yet) EA will automatically be reconsidered for RD, if I did improve my ACT I assume I would be able to send it and it would be used for RD? Since the school also super scores I assumed they will super score my new ACT with my old one? Or is that a question for the school? The school is Miami University (Oxford) if that helps. Thanks again!!
Yes, colleges, including Miami of Ohio, will consider the December ACT for regular admission as long as it arrives in time to be considered in the situation you describe, where you already have all required items submitted and are basically supplementing an already complete file. As to Miami, you should have no problem getting it to the college in time to be considered for regular admission if you order it sent as soon as you get your scores. In fact, there is a possbility it could even arrive in time to be considered for early action since Miami will not release EA decisions until Feb 1.
If you are denied EA that is the end of it. If you are deferred EA then you will be considered in the RD pool.
