I suck at math. I'm in honors precal and I have an A-, but I have to admit that I absolutely hate math and suck at it and I don't plan on pursuing a career that has anything to do with math.

SO, will colleges look down on me if I take the Math I test?
Or...what are the advantages of the Math II test and should I just take that one?

No, but do they prefer Math II? Do they only accept Math II? Many, like the UCs, prefer/require Math II over Math I.

They won't consider you "retarded," of course, but they will like you more if you take IIC instead of IC.

I'm in the same boat. I suck at math, love lit. I'm also taking Math IC since I'm only in Algebra II as a Junior.

The curve IS greater on IIC, and if you are in precal, you could probably take IIC and do better on it because of the curve. I couldn't possibly take IIC since I haven't even done FST yet. In your case, I think you should look into taking IIC. :)

if math I is your third SAT II test they won't

haha thanks everyone. I think I'll take a chance and take the Math IIC...
better go buy those practice books or else I'm going to crash and BURN.

haha, spiffy, you and i are one in the same. im also in honors precalc and have an A-...trig was sooooo much easier =D im using the barrons book for math IIC as it "overprepares" you =D

90% of barron's book won't even appear on the real test

just take the practice test by CB and w/e you get wrong just get your textbook and look over it (IMO much more effective)
