...used the essay prompt from Penn's application (pg 217 autobiography)?

Too late now, but I thought it was my best essay so I used it. I used the EXACT prompt as the Penn one...figured I'd be honest instead of them thinking I was trying to sneak it by. This is OK right?

yaa....this is perfectly fine as long as your essay is good

besides, they can't be exactly sure that you applied for penn...who knows you wanted to write on penn's topic but did not want to apply there!!

just make sure the essay is your best....the rest will be fine!

I Did The Same Exact Thing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I reused one of my UT essays for Rice, but I changed the introduction. Rice is probably familiar with the UT prompts, but oh well. I also used the Rice version for my Common App essay. I don't think it matters. I ended up only writing three essays that way.
