Will Cornell Contact You If...

Okey, I just signed up for that online Application Checklist thing today. Don't ask why I didn't do it earlier, but I really don't know. And I noticed that they have recieved everything except my Transcript and 2nd Teacher Evalutation. I'm not sure what this means because my GC sent the Transcript with the her GC Evaluation and they have that. But not the Transcript?

The little footnote says that in may sometimes take them up to 2weeks to update that info, and that you shouldn't call right away. But I'm kinda worried now because I sent my App. to them way back in Sept.? Shouldn't they have contacted me if somethign is missing, or are they just going to not tell me until April and say that they had to reject me because part of my App. was missing? And my both Teachers said they sent the evaluations a long time ago. Back in November. What's going on?

just keep sending them. i sent everything in one package and yet they said they never got my teacher recs. so i bombarded them with more teacher recs and asked my counselor to fax more over.

They will contact you if something is missing. Be patient, it can take a few weeks. Give them a call if it doesn't show up in a while. Do not bombard them with missing material, that's sort of obnoxious.

call, you've given them the two week grace period.

What if I haven't even sent my Transcript / Rec's because I just recently added Cornell to my list? Is it okay if they get sent in after the deadline? My school is closed right now, but I'm mailing my teachers the forms and will have the transcript sent when Im back to school.

Yeh, I sent them an e-mail, and if I don't hear back shortly thereafter. Giving them the Christmas Grace, then I'll have to give them a call. It would be unwise to bombard them with more papers. Besides the GC Evaluation and Transcript were sent in the same envelope, yet they only got one? That's odd...

parikhs,

Nothing wrong with getting them all out by the deadline. You just need them postmarked by them. Might make your teachers angry. Then again I'm just starting to apply to Gtown but I'm having a teacher just print out another copy of a rec they wrote earlier for me. I'm just going to have to leave that Gtown #ID blank thing empty. But, if I send all the papers in one big envelope it shouldn't get lost. But, I'm warry that being a Protestant they may "accidently" lose my papers... a price you pay... lol

lol postmarked by the deadline? I guess I'll pay my school a visit next week.
