Will Cornell wanting all scores hurt my chance at ed?

So basically my first SAT was a 1780 or 1770, but that's was without prep but after a sat class I'm scoring usually around high 1900s low 2000 and I believe I can get my score to atleast a 2100 by octoer. So will that first scorr hurt me? And SAT 2 well I was really tired and ill prepared for them so I got a 750 US which is good, 600 chem bad, and 550 math1 horrible. I'm taking sat 2 chem over in november and I'm pretty sure ill probably get atleast above 700 maybe even above 750, but will low first score and terrible math 1 screw me over? And will cornell know if you don't send all sat 2 if cas only requires 2? Thanks a lot for the help

Your scores just don’t seem good overall even now . It’ll probably affect you the way you think it will. 1 time high SAT > several times superscore SAT.

No its not a several times superscore I’ve only taken it once and my second time will be in october and I’m pretty sure I’m going to score above a 2100 on this one. And if they only require two sat 2 can I send in only us and my second chem one or am i required to send them all?

Are you aware that November test scores are not guaranteed to reach Cornell in time for early decision applicants? If not, you may want to reconsider applying ED or change your schedule and take the SAT iis in October and the ACT in September and hopefully score a ~32+ there (or at least a 30 but It depends on which school in cornell you will apply to)

Perfect example of why students should begin taking the SAT in Spring of Soph or fall of Junior year…gives you a lot more time to get scores up. Cornell “Super scores”, so some low SAT I scores on earlier attempts isn’t going to hurt you. The Math II score’s negative effect may be dependent on major / college applying to. My D had a 590 M II score and got in the CHE.

Thanks for the reply and I think I should definetly have taken the sat sooner but my guidance counselors told us the we should take the sat for the first time in may of junior year. And do I have to send all scores if they only require 2???

Yes, you are required to send all your scores.

It can only be neutral or hurt you that you take the test more than once. They will see all the scores, and taking the test once > taking the test several times. Also, SAT II matters a lot less than SAT I.
