Will creating an iOS App Developing Company be a truly unique EC?

I have always aspired to make iOS Apps, and with all of the new APIs Apple is coming out with (and a summer of hours a day learning how to come Obj. C) I really want to create one (I have a great, rather easy, App I want to make)

Will this put me apart from other students when applying?

Absolutely; go for it.

Out of curiosity, what’s your graduation year?

its not really that unique. however, if you publish it it’ll be impressive. I made an iOS app for my senior project for school…

I think so! Even though app developing is becoming more and more common among young people because of things like Apple and Microsoft workshops, designing and app and actually getting in published is ambitious for a high schooler. Bonus if the app is something creative and useful.

They are actually dropping since 2001, source: Today show when they talked about coding jobs

I figure making a business will help @guineagirl96‌ it would be published, otherwise our iOS Developing App Company would look fake (we have really good, rather easy ideas)

I think it’d definitely be a big consideration on an application if you’re planning to go into programming or electronic applications. Even if other people have done it before, it can set you apart by showing your experience in the field and your skills. Good luck!

If you are a female, you can try doing the Technovation Challenge.

Yep, Coding is the future.

@AnnieBeats‌ I was going to say “I wish, I have heard it was fun” but then I realized it would be kinda weird
Female coders get a lot of opportunities though, I am pretty jealous

@Swag87‌ and @awakeningvenus‌ Figure this will get a step in the door in (what I think) will be a booming industry

And thanks for responding!

Also, what I mean with an “iOS App Developing Company” means (primarily) my brother and I will roll out a few apps (the avg app takes 18 weeks to make, so since it is only us two it should take us around 30 per App)
