Will C's get me rescinded?

I haven’t heard back from any CSUs, but once I get into them, will a C get me rescinded? I just took my last final and I’m positive my final grade in math is going to be a C. My CSU gpa was a 3.5 but this semester it’s definitely going to be around a 3.0 or 3.25

For the CSU’s, you need to avoid D’s and F’s. C’s will not get you rescinded.

@Gumbymom What if your CSU gpa dips below a 3.0 ? Still ok as long as no D’s?

I have never heard of any student getting rescinded from a Cal State for a C or a couple of C grades Senior year.

Here is some provisional admission information from two competitive CSU’s:

**1) If you are admitted, courses you listed on your application as in progress or planned must be completed with grades of C- or higher by the end of the spring 2019 term. You must also maintain your reported overall grade point average.

  1. You must complete all coursework designated on your application, including those listed as “in progress” or “planned,” with a grade of “C” (or better) no later than the previous Spring Term for admission for the Fall Term. You must maintain the academic standard that allowed for your admission.
You must complete each term in your senior year with an overall 3.0 GPA in your College Prep Coursework. **

You noticed it does not state whether the overall GPA (both semesters) is weighted or not weighted. Even the majority of the UC’s, just require a 3.0 weighted GPA for Senior classes.

One C is not a cause for concern, just do not let it get to be a D by year’s end. Work hard Spring semester and end your Senior year on a high note and if you are concerned, get some extra help from your teacher, peers or a tutor.
