Will C's ruin chance of admission?

My dream school is Appalachian State University in North Carolina. I am out of state. I’m in my sophomore year, and I have 4 C’s on my transcript, (in Algebra 2, Geometry, Ap human, and chemistry) Will this ruin my chance of getting accepted? I have nothing lower than that, but the rest of my grades are A’s and B’s with more B’s than A’s.

Is your SAT over 1150 or ACT over 18? Are you in the middle to top half of your HS class? Is your WGPA over 3.5?

No. App State isn’t terribly competitive, a C won’t hurt your chances. As long as you meet the basic UNC system requirements, you’re fine.

A C might not, but 4 Cs in one year might, esp as OP is OOS.

@collegemom3717 OP is a sophomore, that leaves plenty of time to show upward growth. I know people who have gotten into App with far worse.
