@dodgersmom: I know, right? For some reason, I’m in a “tough love” mood these days.

Contacting the school directly is good advice. We’re in it this round, however and we are getting emails from most all the schools that they are allowing til the end of January to get stuff in. It seems that the “reading” of apps isn’t beginning til Feb 1. The schools are saying not to contact them about materials received until after Jan 27. I think you have time. Tough love has its place, but for those trying to finish up a very intricate and cumbersome process where you have to rely on faulty software that erases every time you put something in, and overloaded servers that crash and won’t accept information, and overloaded teachers, you all have my sincerest and heart-felt sympathies…Keep plugging away. Get 'em in. Unless it’s egregious, I don’t think you’ll be penalized if you have a great app!

Thanks everyone for your input. I over-nighted the essay yesterday. Hopefully, it won’t be too much of a problem, but if so I completely understand it my fault.

While you should asap, you still have a chance. I was a late applicant to Deerfield and I got in. But you do want everything in really soon because again, thousands of other people want to be admitted also. Good luck :)

Deerfield15, how late did you apply?
