Will double majoring increase my chances of finding a secure job?

I am a Senior currently majoring in Journalism & Media Studies who has completed about 89 credits. Not to sound like I'm bragging or anything, but I completed an internship overseas this year (But was not related to my major, it was for a finance company) and I am fluent in three languages. (English, Korean, and somewhat fluent in Japanese).

I've been hearing a lot about the fact that the job security for Journalism (whether it's dying or evolving as a lot of people say) is not that safe, which is a concern. I know the job market is just tough in general regardless of what field one may be planning to get into but I feel like as an Asian-American, especially, it will be extremely competitive and challenging for me to find a secure job in the journalism industry, whether it's writing for print or online. I decided to add another major, Economics, feeling like I would be more versatile and I will stand out slightly more when I write my resume. Also, this gives me the chance to raise my GPA to my desired GPA since I will be attending college for a little longer (In case I decide to apply for grad school in the near future).

What do you guys honestly think?

With two majors, you can look for major-specific jobs for either major, as well as jobs which are not major-specific. There may also be a few jobs for which both are relevant (e.g. journalist writing about economics topics). Whether that is a significant improvement depends on what the majors are, and whether you are interested in the major-specific jobs relating to both majors.
