Will dropping ap physics JR year blow my chances of getting into a selective school?

I’m planning on applying to Columbia ED. I’m a JR currently taking 4 AP classes.

Do you plan to take it again Senior yeatr or another physics class? Fo you plan to major in STEM? What are science classes have you taken or plan to take?

I want to major in a humanities field. Currently, I’m pulling an A in AP Bio and will be taking AP chem next year. I would take honors physics next year, but dropping ap this year would go on my transcript

@Gumbymom also I would have taken 7 APs by the time I graduate (excluding physics)

Since you are focusing on a Humanities type major, it should not make a huge impact especially if you plan to take Honors physics next year. Better to drop the class, than chance getting a low grade especially since you have a rigorous course load Junior year.
