Will financial need affect chances of getting off waitlist?

Does Richmond look at finances in determining who gets off the waitlist? I know some schools do this.

They can, check page 2.

Yes. The best predictor of getting off the waitlist is being full pay or nearly full pay. In addition, they don’t promise to meet need for students accepted through the waitlist.
Stay on the waitlist (no downsides to it), then put it aside, forget about it, and focus on your other choices.

@MYOS1634 Actually, UR DOES meet full need for students accepted through the waitlist.
They are, however, need aware on the waitlist, so needing lots of aid can affect your chances of getting off the waitlist.

Thank you @guineagirl96, I stand corrected and I’ll that away, good to know.
