Will Fraternities Accept Me?

I’m a senior who’s committed to Penn State.

I consider myself a big partier in my hometown.
I love partying, I go all out every single banger that’s thrown here. But the thing is, I don’t really look like a typical frat boy. I am pretty popular in my hometown but it’s because I’m kind of a “meme” persay.

I’m a bit chubby (let’s face it, very chubby) and very short; not to mention I’m Asian.

I don’t really fit the “frat boy” stereotype. I however, do want to get involved with Greek Life as I’ve seen the benefits/relationships as a result.

Will they even accept me? Am I unfit for greek life?

Depends on the frat. Not every frat is created equal. Try to talk to someone at PSU who’s involved in greek life and talk it out.

There is a lot more to fraternity life than just parties. The tone of your post is that you are placing a priority on partying. Please don’t do that. College is an educational experience first and foremost.

And any fraternity that would not extend a bid to you just based on appearance isn’t a good enough fraternity for you!
