Will Harvard consider my HIGHEST SAT IIs?

Hello!

So I sent some SAT II scores before the deadline and sent other ones today. All in all, they have about 6 scores now. Some are a lot better than others, will they only consider my best scores?

Thanksss.

Yes, Harvard will use your top 2 SAT Subject scores to calculate your academic index. They might also use your other SAT Subject test scores as a double-check against your transcript grades.

If they are the same test and you have shown improvement, that might even work in your favor. If they are different test subjects, Gibby’s answer is spot on.

Great, thank you both!!

wait, Gibby, correct me if i’m wrong-- but I was under the impression that Academic Index was only used for recruited athletes?

I believe they allow score choice for SAT2. Why send not so good scores?

I had my November SAT II scores automatically sent for free. ^ Dumb move, I know.

I’m not gibby but I’ll correct you. The Academic Index (AI) is used to compare athletes with the general student population, so all Ivy League colleges must keeps statistics on all of their students’ AI’s, not just the athletes.

Another note that @gibby and @sherpa speak the truth re: AI.
