My older brother graduated from UVa in the class of 2010. I know that UVa doesn't count siblings as legacies, but do you think it will have an impact on my chances?

definitely…put it in i wish…i had some alum in my family

I wouldn’t go so far as to say “definitely”…I don’t think this is a documented plus factor…but I don’t see how it could hurt. It definitely didn’t hurt me.

The answer is no. Siblings are not counted as legacy. Only parents are counted as legacy but it still doesn’t have much impact at all except for OOS applicants.
