Will high school classes fulfill film major prereqs?

I'm a transfer student in the middle of choosing my majors for UCB right now. I took 3 years of French (a full year French 1, a year of half French 2/3, and a year of AP French, though I didn't take the AP exam). Will these fulfill the prereq of 3 semesters of the same language for the film major?

For the film major, you need college level 3 or higher in one foreign language, or college level 2 in two foreign languages. Note that high school course work or AP tests alone are not accepted as they are for general L&S requirements, although some language departments use them for placement into higher level courses.

If you wish to use French, you would need to get appropriate placement from the French department and then complete French 3 or higher.
