Your chances are strong, but nothing is for certain. Being in state helps alot. You have a strong resume with great SAT scores, grades, and ECs. Now just write killer essays and get good letters of rec and I think the bruin will be in your future. Good luck!

Bump…any other opinions?

Very solid grades and test scores. I agree with shawnspencer, if you write some killer essays you’ll be in! In fact, with your stats I would even look into some bigger universities (not that ucla isn’t a good school) I’d give Berkeley a shot as well

i just graduated ucla so my info is outdated by 4 years… i’d say ur 95% in ucla as long as u dont make grammatical/spelling mistakes and make some sense in ur essays.

if u write killer essays u’ll be invited to apply for ucla regents for sure (i graduated as regents scholar - my stats were about the same as urs except sat was 2340 and i did less ec’s… but that was 4 years ago).
