I'm currently a freshman at Austin Community College and I have a 3.5 gpa as of right now but at the end of this year, I'll have a 3.6 gpa. I applied for Liberal Arts. I'm also a member of Phi Theta Kappa. I'll have 34 transferable hours by the end of this year and I have plenty of extra curricular activities and my resume was decent. I sent in 2 letters of recommendations. The only thing I'm worried about is my essays. I tried really hard on them but I don't think I tried enough. What are the chances of me getting in?

Please someone reply to this! Anything helps!

I’d say you have a good shot, unless your essays are completely awful.

With your GPA and the special relationship between Austin College and UT, I don’t think you will have any problem. If you can spell and string words together intelligentyly, I wouldn’t worry about the essays. After all, they are just opinions and you stated yours. It doesn’t have to agree with the readers.
