Will I be able to transfer into Georgia Tech?(strongly needs response..)

Hi I’m an international student in KSU and major Computer Science.

I’m a sophomore in 2018 and want to apply in this coming Spring (spring in 2019).

I currently have 4.0 GPA for all my classes and have 44 credits.

I’ve been volunteering for 60 hours at the end of this semester.

I will complete the requirement classes by this semester so that I can apply my application.

Can you assume the chance of acceptance?? I’ve been worrying that whether I get denied…

Thank you…

I forgot to write this. Should I need my SAT score and high school transcript when I apply? I’m not proud of these…

Do you plan to take only 2 years at GaTech? Often transfer students need two and a half years to complete everyitng after two years at another school, and do you have the funds for that?
Be careful as its hard to get required classes in the first semester after you transfer. The number of GaTech credits determine your priority for class registration.

My daughter transferred to GA Tech CS major after 1 year in UGA. She applied as incoming freshmen in 2017 but did not get in. Her GPA in UGA is 3.87. She had 60+ credit hours (including high school credits) at the time of transfer. She worked very hard in extra curriculum activities to enhance her resume. GA Tech does not look at high school transcript and SAT/ACT for transfer student. Many students applied or transferred as different major and later changed major to CS because CS is competitive. I heard that a good essay matter. Good Luck!

Not sure about transfer admission, but Georgia Tech (unlike the Univ. of Georgia) does consider state of residence as an admissions factor for first year applicants.
