Will I be accepted for Chemical Engineering?

hey there everyone! I'm a senior who is yet to be accepted anywhere yet... what a shame. I sent in my UMinn app a while ago and was wondering if anyone could tell me whether or not I will be accepted!

unweighted gpa: 3.7 / 4

class rank: top 8%

Out of State (Texas)

National Merit Commended Scholar

31 ACT (35 Math and 32 English)

Marching Band all 4 years and section leader senior year
Member of Math and Science Team

Some tutoring jobs where I worked 2-3 hours a week.

also, do i have a chance for any scholarships? especially the out of state tuition waiver?

They view ACT higher than GPA, which yours is high.
I got in to ChemE with a 3.9 GPA and a 29 ACT. Being OOS helps too, along with National Merit Scholar recognition.
I can’t say too much about the scholarships though.

-current U MN Chem E major

thanks G0PHER29! I actually just got accepted today  my first acceptance!

I just got accepted to ChemE also! Exciting stuff.

Congrats! hopefully i’ll see you around campus next year!

Are you a current ChemE student gopher?

Oops haha just read your other post. I feel dumb.

But there’s a good chance I’ll be seeing you on campus next year unless I get into MIT
