Will I be accepted to MIT

Will I be accepted to MIT. I am the president of the Chess Club in my school that I founded. I am the vice president of the Journalism club. I go to an Aviation High School where I work with actual aircraft, so I have basic knowledge in various areas of engineering. I have a 2050 SAT score and a 800 in Math 2 SAT, still waiting to take Physics in January. And a 4.0 GPA. Also, I have created an invention. It's not really an invention because the process does exist, but I built it uniquely differently and all based on my own knowledge without knowing that similar things like it exist. Lets call it a regenerative braking bicycle.

What are my chances of acceptance?

Reach unless you can get the SAT up

If you can get your SAT to a 2250, you should be a solid candidate for MIT. Otherwise, it’s a reach

Chance back?

Even if you get your SAT up, no one can give you a definite “yes” to your question. It’s never a definite yes for schools like MIT.

The blunt answer is probably not, even if you get a 2200+ SAT. If you able to spin your invention thing into something practical and shows innovation, then you probably have a decent shot.
