I have a 3.8 GPA, I have taken 10 international baccalaureate classes from Cambridge University. I have passed the tests for every class. I have a 1990 on my sat, but unfortunately, that includes a 620 for writing. I was captain of varsity soccer and track, I have the Royal School of Choir Music yellow ribbon, and I have done a lot of community work, especially through my church. I also have amazing recommendations from my Cambridge English and my Civics teacher.
Do I have a chance of getting into this school, the University of Georgia?

Wow. Impressive stats, I would say you definitely have a good shot.
Did you apply early or are you applying regular? If you applied early then I think you have a decent shot at getting in.
Even if you are deferred to regular, you can then share your extra curricular and your teacher recommendation (of which, you only need one).

Thanks! I feel so much better!

You’ll find out on Friday if you applied early action. I agree that you have a very solid chance of being accepted.
