Hey everyone!
I am a senior who just applied early action to UNC Chapel Hill as an in state applicant and am currently incredibly worried about whether or not I'll get in. I've heard a lot of different opinions on how difficult it is to get into UNC in state and I'm not sure which one to believe. I'm hoping this will answer some of questions/calm my nerves!

I go to an academically rigorous school on a 4.0 scale and have a 3.9 GPA.

I took the act a few times and ended up with a 28. I know that's not a very good score, but I never do very well on standardized tests.

A far as extracurriculars go, I'm captain of the lacrosse team (I actually started the lacrosse team at my school) and I play basketball as well as run cross country. I am also a writing tutor for students at my school. I am a member of several clubs: key club, outdoors club, music club, young democrats club, invisible children's club, and student government. I am also an avid backpacker and have lead a few backpacking trips in tennessee and north carolina.

Oh, I'm not sure if this helps, but I'm also a hispanic girl. I've heard that's kind of helpful these days.

In your honest opinion, do you think I'lll get into UNC Chapel Hill?
